I finally got around to watching this. It's riveting, and each show ends at just the right cliffhanger moment to make you want to see the next episode immediately, to see how things turn out. So far I've watched the first 8 episodes of Season 1. Like most shows and movies of this type, the farthe ...More

Review for Season - 1

Fauda (it means "chaos" in Arabic) is an Israeli political thriller TV series. It revolves around a Israeli secret services agent who comes out of retirement to hunt down a notorious Palestinian militant he thought he had killed 18 months ago. It presents the Israeli-Palestini ...More

Saw it for the first time (after my kids finally convinced me to go with Netflix) last week. Have not stopped watching it. It's accuracy is amazing and it shows objectively what is happening, not only with the Israeli soldiers and special op units, but also with the Palestinians, both good and bad. ...More

I have never seen an Israeli serial before. This is absolutely awesome. Beats the best of Hollywood or other American serials any day. It took a little while to get used to depending only on subtitles and not on the actual dialogue. But after that it was a thriller at its best. Having said that, if ...More

Having just finished watching the brilliant 'Victim number 8' I was at a loss what to view next-----then found 'Fauda'---have watched 8 episodes over 2 nights and totally hooked is very, very good indeed. Did take a couple of episodes to distinguish who was on which side, but now grasped that I am r ...More

On a scale of 1 -10 it's about a 7. For starters it's supposed to be an elite terrorism task force but the tech and tactics they apply is 30 years out of date. The main character Doran is supposed to be a guy with emotional strugles and often let's his emotions take control. But in reality his chara ...More

Just finished watching the last 2 seasons, it definitely depicts a lot of what goes on however it seems quite biased in reality if that’s what it is meant to deliver! In reality the Israeli army are armed and loaded with the best of what technology has to offer and many Palestinians are shot each d ...More

Amazing. As Lior Raz says in interview, filmed in an Arab village with a mix of actors, it did attempt to flesh out and give depth to all the protagonists. This meant that there wasn't the usual cardboard cut out of goodies and baddies but a mix of real people with family lives and human concerns. I ...More

I am a Netflix fan. Narcos was the first I and my wife watched together from start to finish- we felt nothing could be better - only until we started watching Fauda. The first episode was so gripping that we continued watching. The concept, screen play and acting by entire cast is so good that we ta ...More

I really like this series. The rawness and authenticity is incredible - unlike American military/political thrillers. I appreciate the breakdown on this thread of some pretty obvious tactical errors that even a noncom like me could see, but I give them a pass bc it accentuates the messiness of the ...More

This series is really a good way to let people know about what is the real situation. This series is simply true and quite fair for both sides. Certain actors are not even sure if they live next episode specially shirin. Never thought she would be dead so soon. Just watch and be thrilled.

Riveting. One of the BEST shows I have ever seen. I literally stopped breathing, many times.
I am looking forward to season 3.
It is very similar (perhaps even based on) similar events with different twists.
If you like suspense, drama and thrill, it is a must watch for you.

Oh My. I really Enjoyed this. You fall in love with the characters. And hate some too. Acting is incredible. Makes you want to sit on edge of your chair in every other episode. Can feel frustration too with the quick escapes, but that’s what keeps you watching. Gotta know what happens. Very creative ...More

Undoubtedly awesome show. I couldn’t sleep without completing season 1, just to realise that there are few hours left until morning. I called sick next day to finish the season 2.
