The iPhone 8 is an excellent smartphone as it is equipped with everything and every capability that my digital life needs. It is the perfect size to fit in my pocket and yet it has the power to open applications quickly and efficiently. It is very sleek in its design and the curved, bevelled edge is a nice finishing touch. Battery life seems great and I get several days from one full charge and moderate use. The camera is not as advanced as the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, however the size of that handset put me off, so this iPhone 8 suits my needs the best. On the plus side, this is the last of the iPhones with a HOME button and that's another reason why I prefer this model to later iPhones. It is so much easier to use and navigate than later models without the home button. To sum up, this is an excellent smartphone. Ergonomically beautiful with one handed functionality. With the 2 year John Lewis warranty this purchase was an easy decision for me and one that I am continuing to enjoy every day.
